Blog Assignment 4- Protests In Egypt

Recently we discussed the current events going in Egypt and why they are occurring. In at least 5 sentences explain to me what is happening to Egypt, how would you compare and contrast(how is it alike and how is it different) it to the American Revolution, and give me your opinion on if the U.S. should get involved or not. Remember this: we discussed how President Muburak has been an American ally for 31 years but also has taken away many rights of the Egyptian people. Don't forget to put your full name at the end of the comment.

  2. Mubark has been president for 30 years people want him out of office. I think that soon they have a new election to see who will be president and if he wins there will be no more commotion about this and if he doesn't wip de doo they get a new president. Who ever wins will win fair and square!!!!!!!!

  3. The president in Cairo,Eygypt is wanted out of office. The protests in Egypt is different from the American Revolution because the protesters did not go to war but in the American Revolution they did. They are alike because they both wanted freedom.I think we should'nt. They could go violence to us.

  4. The president of Cario,Egypt is wanted out of office, because he has been taking everbodies taxes and spending them on himself and his entire family. He is also taking their money so they can't buy anything, and president Mubark of Egypt is saying he will not go out of office because he thinkd he is the ruler forever but he is not. That is why on tv their are a big mob of people on the streets trying to get Mubark out of office.

  5. President Mubarak has been a dictator for 31 years. Protesters are getting impatient. It the same because we both wanted freedom. Its different because the American Revolution lasted longer. WE should encourage Mubarak to get out of office.

  6. The president of Egypt has been a dictator for a very long time. the protesters want him out of office right now. This situation is the same as the American Revolution because they want freedom just like us. It is different because the president is not fighting back. We should'nt try to get involved unless the protesters go too far, and the president said he would get out of office in September.

  7. President Muburak has been president in Egypt for 31 years. Protesters started protesting that they don't want him to be president anymore. This situation is the same as the American Revolution because the people want freedom. However, it's also different from the American Revolution because they didn't go to war. I think America should not get involved because it could another war.
