Monday we looked at recent events that have unfolded regarding the death of Usama bin Laden. In at least 3 sentences I want you to simply explain why this was such a big event in the U.S. and what you think this means going forward. Post by Monday May 9.
It is a big event because Usami Bin Laden is now dead . Also the goverment now does'nt have to worry about terroist attacks.Probably the people in Pakistan will give revenge for the death of their master. Jordan Luu
ReplyDeleteThe reason the death of Osama bin Laden is such a big impact on the U.S. is because they have been chaseing this terrorist for ten years. There are two ways al-Quaida could respond; it could get more mad and attack immediately, or wait to find a new leader and rebuild. Many American citizens are happy because they gat revenge from loosing their lost ones.

It is a big event because Osama bid Laden planned the 911 attack on the World Trade Center. It is good because they have lost their leader. al-Quaida could react and attack again but they would have to get a new leader. For America, it was a sigh of relief to know he is dead.
ReplyDeleteOsama Bin Laden's death is a big deal for America because we have been searching for him ever since 9/11. This was a big blow for Al-Quaida and it might quiet them down for a while because this says if America can kill Bin laden we can kill anyone who threatens our freedom. His death was a big accomplishment for the U.S.
