Blog Assignment 5- The Gulf Oil Spill
Friday we watched a video over the Gulf Oil Spill tragedy that happened last year. In at least 5 sentences tell me what was the Deepwater Horizon, what happened to it, why was the spill so hard to contain, is there anyone to blame for it, and how has the spill affected America? This was a tragic accident. The Deepater Horizon is what exploded. The oil spill affected America by letting oil into the Gulf. The rig exploded many times. the person to blame for it is the leader of the company because he should of been more careful.
ReplyDeleteThis is terrible tragic thing that has happened its not anyone's fault but that doesn't mean we can just sit around and complain whose fault it is just get up and work together to fix this. And not just so it doesn't just contaminate our food but so it doesn't kill any animals in the gulf. I think this problem needs to be solved fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is a very tragic thing that has happened. I do not feel that this is anyone's fault. It was an accident. The spill has been very hard to pick up and they had to use hundreds of diffirent sulpplies to clean up the spill. The oil spill has effected the wildlife that lives in the gulf. It could also have effected our food that we have eaten or will eat. The ocean should be fun not dangerious. It's are responsibility to take care of our enviroment but human error occurs and we must be able to forgive that.

The Deepwater Horizen is is ultra deep-water under water. What happened was that it blew up because of the pressure. It was hard to contain cause it was spreading.Yes I think we should blame the goverment , for thier bad secureness.It has affected America now because now animals are dying.

The Deep Water Horizon is the place that they got the oil. They were dealing with unmeasured pressure and did it wrong. The tube delivering oil exploded. It was hard to clean up because what would normally cut off circulation failed and they had no backup plan. I blamed the faulty epuipment. If they did'nt clean it up in time it could've ruined some of our great parks.
ReplyDeleteThis was a very tragic accedent. The Deep Water Horizon is where B.P. got its oil. What happened was, where B.P. got their oil blew up because of all the pressure. It was hard to clean up because the oil was scattered everywhere, and it was so inexpected that B.P. wasn't ready for it. I wouldn't blame B.P. because it was an accident and accidents happen.

The Deepwater Horizon was an oil well in the Gulf of Mexico. There was an explosion that damaged it and oil started to leak out of it. B.P. was not able to stop the leak because the electrical lines broke during the explosion. There was no one to blame for this accident because drilling in deep waters is dangerous. The spill has affected America by hurting fisherman and hotels on the beaches.

The oil spill was a disaster and many people were on board when it blew up, this disaster also affected the life below the waves too.
